AUG 11th!
In the wink of an eye I’ll be home.
Just you wait it won’t take all that long.
Though I’m not very sure
What’s behind this new door,
I’ll cling to your love while I’m gone.
In the wink of an eye I’ll be home.
And I’ll show you the treasures I found.
And I hope that you see
That the changes in me
Are ones that will make you proud.
And as I’m leaving I feel sure
I have gone through leaving home before.
In the wink of an eye I’ll be home and
And we’ll laugh and we’ll hold and we’ll cry
For this veil of tears
Isn’t measured in years
It’s all in the wink of an eye…
The wink of a Heavenly eye.
Just you wait it won’t take all that long.
Though I’m not very sure
What’s behind this new door,
I’ll cling to your love while I’m gone.
In the wink of an eye I’ll be home.
And I’ll show you the treasures I found.
And I hope that you see
That the changes in me
Are ones that will make you proud.
And as I’m leaving I feel sure
I have gone through leaving home before.
In the wink of an eye I’ll be home and
And we’ll laugh and we’ll hold and we’ll cry
For this veil of tears
Isn’t measured in years
It’s all in the wink of an eye…
The wink of a Heavenly eye.

HOW EXCITING. I think the words must be so very perfect.
ReplyDeleteTwo out at the same time must have been so incredible.
Love the tracking stickers and am a big Michael McLean fan.
ReplyDeleteHow great it will be to have them home again.
Perfect song, love it! How exciting and wonderful! Look at those two posters with all those stickers! :) And each sticker represents so much...work, dedication, lessons learned, people met, gospel shared, prayers said, and etc... even a little danger thrown in there for good measure (yikes!)
ReplyDeleteWow! You have had 2 missionaries out at the same time? That is SO awesome!!
ReplyDeleteYou must be one excited mom to see the month of August!!
