This was the picture that my 18-year-old son sent to my phone while I was at work.
The text read:
"My car's better than Jordan's!"
He's had this car only a month. It's a 1979 280Z. After hearing my ranting and threats against him, he assured me his speedometer is broken.
For his sake, I pray it is!
Sidenote: He said that he thinks he was ONLY doing 80!
I LOVE it!! What a sense of humor your son has!! How fun, a 1979 280Z!! Those were the days!!
ReplyDeleteThat was scary :) Thank goodness it wasn't a Toyota!
ReplyDeleteOH....that is funny! What a funny kid. HOWEVER...if it were my child I probably wouldn't think it was funny when I got the picture. I'd be thinking, WHAT THE HECK ARE DRIVING THAT FAST AND USING YOUR CELL PHONE CAMERA???
ReplyDeleteGLAD it's a broken speedometer.
HAHAHAHA
Sandra
Oh. My. Heck! I'm still hyperventilating!
ReplyDeleteThe stinker.
280Z? Awesome. I loved those cars!
Why do boys like to shock their moms? I would have freaked and then threatened him - ha ha:)
ReplyDelete'79 280Z brings back a ton of memories!!! Great car !
You've got one funny kid!
ReplyDeleteBoys love to do things like that to their moms, eh ; )
ReplyDeleteLove following your Blog Connie! This one is hilarious I think when my daughter gets older she will get a bus pass..lol!Your daughter Jill is one my good friends and now I see where she gets her witty humor from LOL!
ReplyDeleteI {heart} blogs!
Was he going through a residential zone?
ReplyDeleteThat son of yours cracks me up!
That could give a mom heart failure!!! Crazy kids! :D
ReplyDeleteYeah - totally fake! The pic is too "still".
ReplyDeleteBut he is a creative one, that Jake!
My favorite part is that your son sent you a picture. You can be I'd never let my mother know if I drove that fast:)
ReplyDeleteDid he tell you it was broken before or after to threatened bodily harm...sounds like a lame coverup if you ask me. I'd take that car out for a spin and check it out myself. Crazy Uncle Jake!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness... is that what I have to look forward to? I better practice laughing through heart attacks!
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty hilarious, though.
