Confusion or Promise?

During the snow storm, these robins found refuge in our walnut tree.

Are they confused or is this a promise that spring is coming soon?
(I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the latter)

  3. We have had three robins singing outside too...they are definitely getting frisky as are the blackbirds. Meanwhile it's still grey, cold and wintry here.
Your photograph is so beautiful I'm going to show it to Hubby as he loves birds and it is sure to cheer him up.

  8. I think the birds are a reflection of all of us. Confused. That's what spring in Utah is like anyway. Just plain confusion

  11. Aw, I miss seeing robins at my grandma's place in Draper. We don't get them down here in Vegas. I always loved their red chests.
I do hope spring is on it's way.

  17. Supposedly the groundhog said spring is coming early....but we know how reliable rodents can be.

  18. How beautiful they are! The red is so so cheerful. (Don't mind me - I'm kind of a bird geek.) Around my house we have hundreds of hummingbirds. Not many robins - I guess they're in colder climates? I hope it warms up for you soon!
