Laughter. It Keeps Us Young!

My three 3-year-olds came to me and asked for gum.  I told them I thought I had some and got my monstrous purse.  I searched for the gum, while the three were waiting in anticipation.  During my search, which required a head lamp, I happened upon my camera that was hiding in the cavernous bag.  I turned on the camera and told the girls that I thought I found the gum!  I pulled it out and started taking pictures.  The girls, caught by surprise, laughed loud and hard.

We've been told that laughter keeps us young.  Victor Hugo said this about laughter:

"I like the laughter that opens the lips and the heart,
shows at the same time the pearls and the soul"

"Laughter is the sun that drives winter
from the human face"

I hope we all have a good laugh today!

What a cute idea to find a camera in the cavernous purse and start snapping.
The faces of those darlings is absolutely priceless.
    Way to go grandma!

Did they ever get some gum?
    Hope so!

  11. I couldn't agree more. Whomever said, "Laughter is the best medicine" knew what they were talking about.
I love the kind of laughing that makes ones sides hurt afterward. Makes me feel like I did ab crunches, then I don't actually have to do any.

  14. I'm laughing so hard at C8's mouth. Lydia can't keep her candy inside her mouth either. It always ends up clear up to her cheeks and even nose!
