July 5th. Birthday to three!
For 11 years, Jake, my youngest, was the only one in our family with that birthday. Nine years ago, Miss Em decided that Jake needed a birthday buddy. Not to be left out, four years ago, Keiti joined the ranks.
A triple birthday = Lots of celebrating!
The cakes were SPIT-tacular!
Actually the cakes were not good! I've decided NEVER to buy Western Family brand cakes again!
Instead of rising, the cake just bubbled over the sides. Burned cake does not smell good!
Here are 7 of the 10 grandkids on the trampoline. It's all fun and games until someone gets their front teeth knocked out!
Poor Ad.
Thank goodness they were baby teeth and the swollen lip is back to normal this morning.
It's time to enforce the trampoline rules once again!
What better way to end a triple celebration than with snaps and aerial fireworks!
Happy Birthday to Jake, Em and Keiti!
Looks like you all had a great time - well, except for the little one who knocked her teeth out. Yikes - drama!! So glad they were baby teeth - did she get some good money for them from the tooth fairy? I mean, the trauma/drama should up the ante, yes?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the kids would gobble them up anyway!
ReplyDeleteGood thing those were baby teeth! It's a wonder any of us have teeth the way we play! Sounds like a fun time celebrating all these birthdays! ;D
ReplyDeleteGood times. Western Family clearly has cake issues too.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. I can't say that I have seen a cake do that. I bet the kids thought it tasted great. You sure have a party house. Fun to share a day with loved ones.
ReplyDeleteNothing better than birthday twins or in this case triplets. Looks like all had a great time celebrating.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the teeth. I'll bet that really hurt. Poor little one. Luckily it's her baby teeth.
Sending hugs.
Sorry about the teeth.
ReplyDeletethose western family cake mixes and frosting are totally band from our house. The price is so tempting.
How fun to have a triple birthday celebration. We have a couple of doubles but no triples.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning on that brand of cake mix.
Sorry about the teeth and the lip.
What the heck is it with your family and getting hurt? You seem to have quite the monopoly, don't you?
ReplyDeleteOuch! Those poor teeth! I hope the Tooth Fairy still came...
ReplyDeleteI took a cake decorating class once and the teacher said that the VERY BEST cake mix to buy is Betty Crocker. It's usually pretty affordable at Winco.
Oh dear ... I shouldn't have looked at this entry -- we just bought a tramp :(
