Wow! It has been a while since my last post. In case you were wondering what I've been doing, I'll share tidbits of my past week and the week to come.
Between these little honeys that are being made in to jam and are still dropping on the ground...
...baking "gourmet" cookies for the reception....
...sewing table cloths and a dress for me that looks horrible!! ( I will be shopping for a dress this week)...
...helping my one-armed honey make back drops (painting, stringing lights and wrapping with fabric is my job)...
...training for the Hobble Creek half marathon...
(google image, it really isn't me)
...and watching my favorite episodes of this...(is there such a thing?)
...there's no time for blogging!
The wedding is Saturday. Did I mention there will be dancing at the reception? Hopefully I'll be able to relax and enjoy watching "Julio's uncles" dance.
I don't think we'll be serving the kind of refreshments these guys are accustomed to.
I used to love Matlock! My grandmother used to watch it all the time and got me hooked. Haven't seen an episode in many years.
ReplyDelete, you have got a super busy week ahead of you..good luck with everything! (No I did not ride that cyle LOL everyone was pulled off the road and he was headed for shelter in another car!) ;D
ReplyDeleteSounds crazy and stressful, and like there are gonna be some great things coming up! Good luck!!

ReplyDeleteThey are rehearsing I take it so as to be the entertainment? Looks like you will be having lots of fun dancing.
ReplyDeleteLove Matlock!
Good Luck and Best wishes getting everything done. If I lived closer, I would come help paint.
Are those guys really Julio's uncles? If so you are in for a fun reception! Good luck finding a dress and juggling everything you have this week. Try and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLots of excitement! Hope it all goes smoothly. My late mom and I loved Matlock!
ReplyDeleteI didn't watch Matlock very often but when I did I enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI hope all of the plans come together. Sorry about the dress.
Hope the training is going well.
These guys really aren't Julio's uncles, at least I don't think so, but if they were, we'd be in for a rip-roaring time!
ReplyDeleteThat video was hilarious, as I was beginning to wonder how long they were going to be able to carry on with all their moves. You will have quite the party if everyone gets dancing like that.
ReplyDeleteHope you are able to find a dress that you will look stunning in. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
I've been missing you and wondering how things are going? Cute update :)
ReplyDeleteYea, you will have to serve something stronger than Cookies and Milk for those over 50 to cut the rug like that :-). Yum, those cookies look divine!
ReplyDeleteWow Connie - you really HAVE been busy! I know how Matlock can be all-consuming :)
ReplyDeleteYou have got alot going on Connie. I am so looking forward to the pictures of the wedding - the gourmet cookies look delish!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!!
Sorry the dress didn't turn out like you like it. It's not easy to find a good dress at the store, which seems strange in Utah. Hope everything goes perfectly and that you have lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteI had to mention that I love Matlock. :) We should have a Matlock marathon with lots of goodies to eat sometime. Haha!
ReplyDeleteCrossing my fingers that you find a dress that will work! :)
ReplyDeleteThe cookies look yummy...and so do those apricots.
You've been super busy!!! I'm glad you've had time to watch Matlock, though.
Good luck with all of your busy preparations and also with finding the perfect dress. Actually, you are the type that looks good in everything, so don't worry. I am confident that you will look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see all of the pictures.
I don't think I've ever seen Matlock. I just might have to remedy that situation.
Good luck! The cookies look perfect.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the wedding - it will be fabulous! I dance *just like* those guys! Make your own party, I say.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're a busy girl! Those guys look like they'd fit right in at a Mormon wedding reception! Wonder what they were drinking? Mimi
ReplyDeletethose apricots and cookies look amazing! Good luck on your half marathon!!
ReplyDeleteYou are certainly one busy gal. I am impressed with your ability to train for a marathon in the midst of getting ready for the wedding and reception. You are a better woman than I :)
ReplyDeleteI'll be sending good wishes your way, for all to turn out just as you plan and hope for :)
I wish I were there to help you bake. Have a great weekend and then come back and tell us all about it.
ReplyDeleteYou are sure keeping busy, woman! I for one know that your cookies are the bomb...
ReplyDeleteCant wait to see all of the happiness at the reception!
ReplyDeleteGee whiz, what a busy girl you are!
ReplyDeleteI used to hate it when I made myself an outfit and it turned out looking horrible on me! I now limit my sewing to home decor, tablecloths and such!
