Better With Age

Some things get better with age; cheese, wine, (or so I've been told) paintings, and my Mom, Cleo.



We celebrated my Mother's 90th birthday, and what a celebration we had!  Even though I was accused of thinking this party was a wedding reception, we decorated the cultural hall in the church and filled it with people.


These people came with hugs, 


well wishes,


memories,


smiles,


songs,


and love, to honor this beautiful, gracious lady.

    You got to grow up with lots of Aunts! How fun that must have been. And so what if it looked like a wedding reception....90 years she deserved the best! :) I'm sure this day with all her family around her meant everything to her.

    She sure doesn't look old enough to be 90! I lost my mom to diabetes when she was 68. Way too young. She would have celebrated her 75th this year.

    Such a lovely lady! We just celebrated my mama's 86th birthday. I hope she will still be with us at age 90!
