Years ago, I was talked in to being a Mary Kay beauty consultant. It took a lot of convincing because I'm not a sales person, but because I really like the products, I consented and started my "career" as a beauty consultant. (I love that term) I realized with 4 daughters and daughters-in-law, I would have enough "business" to make it worth while. I don't do parties nor do I find people to sell under me. I just buy the products at a discount, give discounts to anyone who wants it (I know, other consultants don't want to hear that), give as gifts and giveaways and use it myself.
The other day, while waiting for my grandkids preschool program to start, I got out my lip gloss.
Kels and C8 wanted to apply the gloss liberally to themselves...
...and others! After watching their techniques, I realized that with them on my team, I couldn't go wrong. Maybe it IS time to take this show on the road.
After all, who wouldn't want to look this good?
Happy New Year!
Mary Kay rocks the party right.

ReplyDeleteCutie pies, watching and learning everyday! Thanks for visit grannymountain today. I can't say for sure if you can get collard greens in the grocery store where you live. I can tell you I wouldn't waste my money on them, they are vile!!! Had to take a bite of them as a child on New Years for good luck but spinach would work too...it's folklore that says eating greens will give you "money in the New Year!" Come visit often...

HOW CUTE!!! Seriously...can you ever have enough lipgloss?? The pictures are adorable. Little girls just do something to my heart.
ReplyDeleteYEARS and years ago I sold Avon. I'd load up our first child in the stroller and off I'd go door to door. OH MY WORD....Hard to believe I did that. Mary Kay is so much cooler! And much better product. (do you own a pink cadillac? Those are awesome!)
Have a great day.
Sandra
OKAY...you need to get a pink cadillac. It would go with your pink boots!!!! That could be your goal this year. DO IT!!
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable. And best of all? With the liberal nature they use to apply it, people will have to buy more, more often!
