Notice the flowers. There is no vase, just plastic wrapped around the stems. It stands up well, until the water's gone. I've had to refill it several times because it tips over.
These are some pedicure pictures. We went there the day after we arrived. These ladies are so thorough! It took 2 1/2 hours for the poor gal to finish up my Fred Flintstone feet. She shaved so much dry skin off that I now take a size 9 shoe! She baked the glitter on my nails. They should last all summer!
Here are just a few signs that make me smile. The names of their stores, translated to English have a whole new ring to them. Can you tell wht kind of restroom we were in? That was a nice one. OK, enough randomness.
The Fordbidden City was incredible! I bought the Last Emperoro at a DVD store here, which reminds me, I got 7 DVDs for $2.00 each. Many of them new releases. They even had Shrek 3 but the lady told me it was a bad copy because it's so new (pirated). I'll send some pictures later.
Today we're going to Temple of Heaven and learn how to make noodles.

I want a sign like that relic one at places in my house. Gets the point across well:)
Glad you're having fun!!
Hey, check and see if they have any Calvin and Hobbes ties there; I've only got two and I need to see if I can update my collection…
I love reading those signs on engrish.com. Always makes me laugh.
I'm so glad you're popping in with random! Looks like such an experience. I love their cheap movies. ;)
You must be having the most awesome time.
Isn't it an amazing country--so many things to see.
I can't stop laughing about the dead skin and now being a size 9--you are so funny.
LOL.... Love their signs. Sounds like your having amazing adventure.
Your toes look beee-yooo-teee-ful! Not sure what's up with that bathroom pic. So weird to be in another culture like that, huh? Amazing. Glad you had a great time.
