July continues to be a busy month, filled wih celebration and family time!
Dan's birthday was on the 9th. We celebrated by going to a local swimming pool.
He and his wife, Nicole, are here from Albuquerque to find a home in the Salt Lake area so she can start her job at the Riverton Hospital. How thoughtful of him to be here so we could celebrate!
Dan started out big. He was 10 lbs 9 oz and 23 inches long when he was born.
He continued to grow, topping out at 6'8" (This joke never gets old)
Dan is one of the favorite uncles! The kids adore him!
Do you love the cake pan from the 70s?
He's a very talented artist, working with airbrush on Harleys and other vehicles and paintbrush on canvas.
The details are amazing!
An artist needs a new camera for his birthday!
Happy Birthday Dan! We love you!
(Do you like the way I kept your face covered?)
The day after the birthday celebration, The Divine Miss Em got baptized! It was a wonderful day with family, food, and fun!
Four generations:
Mom, Em, Grandma (me) and Great Grandma (my mom)
Once again, Camille came through on the picture taking!
We're proud of you, Emily Mae!
Very talented son you have there! The details in those designs are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI would like an airbrushed design of Brad Pitt's jeans on my car please. I can tell Dan is just the guy for the job because the jeans will look so realistic! Then you know what I could say every time I get in the car, right? I'll leave it at that.

ReplyDeleteIt's such a happy time when kid scome home and I can't imagine the JOY you must feel to have your son and daughter-in-law moving closer to you! What a fun family you have.
I'm always jealous of four generation photos as my grandparents died when I was young and so my kids will never get to have one of the kind of photos taken. That is such a blessing for you and your grandkids.
ADORABLE grand-daughter with freckles and she looks gorgeous in her white dress. She is the same age as my little Ethan who was baptized in April and wouldn't you know it, his face is covered in those adorable freckles as well.
Camille is such a talented photographer and captured the bottom photo just perfectly.
Wishing you another FUN filled week of summer vacation!! Enjoy!
(hopefully sometime this summer, I will actually get my photos gone through and have some posts of our summer fun we have been having).
