Dodging a Bullet

This evening, Andy and I went to dinner.  We were on the freeway in the right lane by an exit.  A woman in a blue car was driving in the middle lane and decided she needed to take that exit.  In the process, she cut us off.  It's a good thing the hubs has cat-like reflexes or it could have been much worse.  He slammed on the brakes, she flipped gravel as she veered up on to the exit.  There was no place to pull over and check the damage so we kept going north and she toodled on up the exit.

As maddening as this is, we were very fortunate this was all that happened.  Not sure if her guardian angel stepped in or ours.
Have a great weekend and drive carefully!

Those small accidents can be very frustrating, but I agree that when all is said and done, you are glad that it wasn't worse.

So glad to hear you are ok. Things like that always make me anxious when driving for a few days.

I'm sooooo glad you two are safe. I hate it when things like that happen.

By the way, I like the yellow in the previous post. It's a nice, cheerful color.

Scary! So glad you escaped (mostly) unscathed.
And the freeway around here is a nightmare right now, even when you aren't being cut off!

Your guardian angel teamed up with hers to keep you both safe. Glad your both safe!

I'm glad you two were not hurt. Close calls like that are scary and the people who cause them rarely realize what they've done.

Close calls like this are so unnerving. I remember when they were doing I-15 in prep for the Olympics and it was basically a "luge" that you drove on. We had a near miss with someone and there was literally no where to go. I can remember Splenda slamming on the brakes and I just was waiting for the impact. Luckily, we dodged one then too, but still these are so unnerving

Oh my word!
I can't believe how rude.

People need to hang up and drive.
I'm scared of driving in Utah, it's just soooo many cars.

I hope you were OK.
Glad your hubs is a ACE driver too. Could have been bad.

You know what they say about crazy Utah drivers! Probably both of your guardian angels were at work. So glad that all's well that ends well. Mimi

I'm glad your husband is quick on the draw and that no serious damage was done. As for the other driver - she was probably put out that you were in her way!
