Glitter Makes My Day!

I'm mesmerized by glitter!  I lose my train of thought, and get lost in the shimmery, shiny, glinty, luster of sparkle.  A few days ago I made this bulletin board for speech.

It's hard to tell by the picture, but the snowflakes are covered with iridescent glitter!  It was a wonderful day for me...not so much for the guy who vacuums the room.  Each snowflake represents a speech student.
We are a blizzard.

  3. I thought you were totally rockin' the glitter the other day! I am pretty sure there is no one more sparkly than you.

It was such a treat to sit by you the other day and talk like OLD friends. You are such a treasure.

  6. I also love glitter. As a matter of fact, my favorite chair in the living room still has green glitter left from one of my Christmas project. My husband HATES glitter. You would think he did the vacuuming. As long as I vacuum ... I will glitter.

  7. Connie- that's what MY speech bulletin board says right now! I liked my Christmas one, too- gingerbread men with each of my kids' names on it and the phrase "Catch Us Using our Good Speech!"

  9. Connie, Thanks so much for telling me about your husband's ablation. Patrick's recovery seems a little slower and more painful this time. Your husband's recovery has given me encouragement and hope that all will turn our okay this morning. Thanks.

  22. I came by to say thank you for the great comment you left on my last post and how I loved the idea that the sales people have a recliner out back and stopped and thought 'oooooh glitter'. I love all sparkly shiny things, it must be the magpie in me. Then I read all the wonderful heartfelt comments above. You are one special lady to have all these people write these comments...so I decided that the glitter is very appropriate - shiny and lovely like yourself.
    Keep shining!

  24. That is one awesome bulletin board! Did you cut those snow flakes out with a Cricut? I'm guessing you were covered with glitter when you were done. At least I am when I use it. One time I found glitter on my dog 3 days after my project.
