Getting There!

Just two short weeks

until these two get married.

We're moving along

but not sure it's fast enough.

We got Grandpa in on backdrop building. (Notice the plastic bag on Andy's cast)

I hope this convoluted group of items ends up being something beautiful!

We still have table runners, back drops, center pieces, and refreshments to make.

This is supposed to be fun, right?

Those are such cute photos of them! How wonderful that they found each other. It sounds like you have a lot of work ahead of you so I hope you get to enjoy it all even with the work.

OH MY HECK!!!!!
This post just gave me a panic attack!!!!!
I'm tired just thinking about all you are in the middle of.

I won't tell you that I've totally been enjoying these last three weeks. Sitting in the yard, putting my feet up, having Sven the pool boy bring me little drinks with umbrellas in them.
Ya, TOTALLY lying.

Thinking of you.
Soooo dang grateful it's you.
You obviously handle this sort of thing much better than me.

Fun, fun, fun!! I am sure it will be great. Those last two weeks are bit bit hectic. But I still think they are fun. Now that our daughter's wedding is all over I keep wondering how we ever got it all done, but also thinking I can't wait for the next one since I learned a lot of things I would do differently next time around. My next daughter isn't in much of a rush to get married though--and that is probably for the best.

Good luck!! I wish I could come and help you.

Happy times for them = lots of work for you.

You'll do great. Hope it's awesome. But right before school starts? What were they thinking?

I love getting ready for a wedding. I actually just helped my niece with the decorations for her wedding. It turned out beautiful.

It will all be worth it, I promise.

Connie, I just wanted to let you know I made a mistake on my blog post...the pics are of dragon flies. I don't know why I typed firefly...wishful thinking maybe. I've never seen a firefly either.

I have a wedding (my first) in about 3 months... I have no idea what I'm doing. I admire you moms who are so put together and can even sew dresses and make back drops! I'm thinking I'll just give them money and they can elope!
