What a Loser! (and other good things)

This is old news but I haven't shared it yet.
Our school had a "Biggest Loser" contest.
We weighed in January 9th and every Monday since then. Our final weigh-in was March 15th. (our anniversary).  I lost a total of 18 lbs and WON!!!  I had lost the biggest percentage of weight!  Woot!  Woot!  The sad things is, it's the STP! (Same Twenty Pounds)
You're probably wondering what the winnings were. Well, you know that on the REAL Biggest Loser show, the winner gets a quarter of a million dollars!  I won a quarter of a thousand dollars!  That's right, $250.00!  I think I'll retire and buy a condo in City Creek!

Here are a few pictures of our annual Easter egg hunt.
Since Troy and Aly are the youngest egg hunters, they got to have a head start.  Look at that determined look on Troy's face!  Aly had a hard time maneuvering around that huge basket.  We later switched it out for a lighter, more versatile, woven basket.

Keiti's checking out her loot.

Kelsey had no problem finding her eggs.

Izzy wants to check hers before putting them in the basket!  No one wants a rotten egg! (An egg with jelly beans)

Uh...Corban...look behind you!
See, this is why we have that yucky lava rock on the house! One day, we're hoping to have that stuff removed!  But until then, it's a great hiding place for eggs.

Uncle Dan hid most of the eggs.  Here's Em trying her hardest to get that lone pink egg in the huge apricot tree.  Notice all those dang blossoms?  (Sigh)

Cy's back up in the walnut tree to find his eggs.

Real funny, Uncle Dan!

Baby Langston couldn't care less about the hunt.

Baby Neil looks like he made a haul when all he did was sit in the front room and wait patiently.

Another good thing:

I've been doing Indexing and am enjoying it!
Do you want to try your hand at it?  Go here and see what you think!
(I've learned to greatly appreciate good handwriting.)

Last, but not least, I have signed up on Facebook!

(Never say "never!")
I feel like a fish out of water!  I'm trying to figure out the proper etiquette of Facebook and have asked my daughters several different times how it all works. I'm a slow learner - so be patient with me.

Wait! One last item of business!  Go to Camille's blog to enter to win a body contouring treatment.

OK, I think I'm finished!

And who cares if it was the same 20 pounds, YOU WON!!!! And yes, enjoy that condo at City Creek!!! (Of course, I think even if you won the TV Biggest Loser it wouldn't get you a condo at City Creek ; )

Love the Easter pictures.

Now I'm heading to Camille's blog--I could use a body contouring treatment.

Congratulations on winning the Biggest Loser. That is just awesome. AND the money isn't bad either. :)

Love the Easter egg hunt pictures. Oh my goodness, you hide eggs in some very hard places. I'm sure the kids loved it and the babies are so cute.

You're on Facebook! I'm on Facebook. Let's friend each other.

Let's get together some time soon. Hugs.

Condo in City Creek is just a bonus!

I am more than THRILLED that you are on Facebook. That's how I do my e-mailing.. so now I can e-mail you! haha

My kids don't like Jelly beans either. Too funny that those are the rotten ones.

Congratulations Winner! Who cares if it's the same 20's 20 lbs!

Facebook scares me. I'm on it, but I still don't understand it and I never know what I am writing just where it is going and who is seeing it. I need to be more patient and get with the times.

Woot! Great job on your win!!!
You lost the weight...I found it!

Don't you just love watching the little ones find eggs?!

Welcome to FB but it seems to me that FB has stolen everyone's desire to blog like they used to.

Just my opinion...

Congratulations on your weight loss!! WOW, you didn't look like you needed to lose weight at well! You are tall, slender and look fabulous! (you inspire me SO much!) You definitely deserved to win, especially, since you are have the most will power out of anyone that I know. I'm still amazed that you put the Chocolate Cinnamon Lips away that Tauna gave to you and that you didn't give into temptation and eat them as soon as you got them!

LOVE your Easter Egg and all of the AWESOME places at your house to hide eggs! Such cute photos of your sweet grand-kids!

I've missed you! Life is busy as usual, but the good thing about my boys going on a Scout camp-out once a month is it means, I have a little bit of free time to be able to enjoy some time in blog land! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Ha, we did a biggest loser in our family and I lost 18 lbs. too. I didn't win though, my 31 year old son did. Ha, Ha for him though, just try that when you hit your 50's and it ain't quite as easy.

Did I really see snow in your yard? That stinks if it was but it looks like everyone had a great time anyway.

Congratulations on being the biggest loser!! That is awesome.

Also--I just read your past posts. I am so sorry to read about your little grandbaby. It breaks my heart to heart to hear that. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

20 lbs is awesome I think. I have only lost 11....and have 15 more to go. Oh woe is me.
$250 is pretty good, but you might have to wait on the City Creek Condo.
It is fun having you on facebook.
