Addiction!

I've known many people who are addicted to one thing or another;  tobacco, alcohol, prescription drugs and even caffeine.  (I thought that I might have an addiction to chocolate, but I can go several hours without it..so...I must be OK, right?)  I would look at these people with a feeling of deep sorrow for their bondage and maybe, just maybe, a self-righteous feeling that I didn't have their problem.

I discovered this drink at Costco that reminds me of Crystal Light. It has no sugar, 3 grams of fiber and 15 calories a serving.  I thought it would be good to take to work.  Every morning I get a large plastic water bottle, fill it with ice and water and add a packet of the powder.

I didn't realize how much I depended on this drink until the morning I got up, made it, then forgot to grab it.
A few blocks from work, I glanced lovingly down at the cup holder in my car and THAT'S when I realized I had forgotten it on the kitchen counter!  My mouth got dry, my throat closed off, my heart raced and I started to sweat!  What was I going to do?  I thought of turning around, going back home to get it, and being a half hour late for work - but with tears running down my face, (a slight exaggeration) I forged ahead, knowing that I wouldn't survive the day without it!
Is it possible to be addicted to fiber?  Maybe it's time to read the fine print on the box!

Do you have an addiction you want to confess?  I hear it's good for the soul!

Diet Dr. Pepper. Badly. Also, chips and salsa, every Sunday, after church. BIG PROBLEM...because I just realized I didn't bottle any salsa this year, and my sister didn't do as much as she normally does. This will learn me....right?

Definitely chocolate. I hear these crazy people who don't even like chocolate and I think how skinny I would be if that were me.

I'm admitting to nothing!

Rick's grandma had a thing for Metamucil and Milk of Magnesia. She consumed A LOT of both...on a regular basis (pun intended).

I hope your day was fine, even without the extra fiber. :)

Chocolate, chocolate, and more chocolate.

I've wondered about the Benefiber--will have to give it a try. (I love Crystal Light Pink Lemonade, but it's been getting harder and harder to find)

I really am addicted to apples. I have no less than three a day. I go to bed at night excited to wake up the next day and eat one for breakfast. No joke.

And it's not cheap---I only like Pink Lady's and Honeycrisp. Yeah-they're not cheap. But they taste so good!

And hey-with apples or benefiber-I mean, there are definitely worse things to be addicted to, right?

I would have to say salt. Yup. Chips, pretzels, chips. It is so bad for me, but it is so good!

I don't like drinking things much unless they are carbonated.
soooooo boring otherwise.

Addicted to the fibre ------I for sure would check the fine print.

My list of addictions would take to long to put HERE

I know I have an addiction to chocolate. I can't even make it one day with out it. Most often it is at the end of the day when I need it the most.

Definitely Chocolate, but chips and salty things run a close second.
