Beginning To Heal

Grady Conway Badger
December 28, 2011 - March 16, 2012

On March 16, 2012 Grady returned quietly to the presence of his Heavenly Father. Grady entered mortality in Lehi, Utah on December 28, 2011 as the fifth child and second son of Andrew Dale Badger and Candice Langston Badger. He brought with him a gentle, happy disposition and his brief stay was filled with soft lullabies, tender kisses, and generous hugs. Grady's loving parents, siblings (Emily, Cyrus, Kelsey and Alyson) and extended family look forward to the time when they will, once again, be together sharing each others' adventures and happy embraces.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday March 21, 2011 at 1:00 pm in the Spring Creek 1st Ward building located at 1630 South Weeping Willow Way, Lehi, Utah.  A family viewing will be held before the services.

My dear friends, THANK YOU for all your kind, supportive words, comments, texts and phone calls during our time of grief.  We have experienced some of the darkest days and longest nights.  However, because of all your prayers in our behalf, we have felt the comfort of the Holy Ghost and our hearts are healing.
I love you!

(Simon Dewey - In His Constant Care)

Many of you have asked how to help.  My daughter, Camille, has a link to a paypal account where you can donate to help the family with funeral and burial expenses, if you feel so inclined.  You may go here to read about it.

I can not get yall out of my mind. I have kept you in my prayers daily. That picture of the Savior and the baby says it all to me. I've never seen it before and it is so beautiful and really touched my heart. I hope that each day gets a little easier for each of you.
Good luck tomorrow and hugs, my sweet friend.

You were in my thoughts and prayers all weekend. It hurt me so much to know what grief you were experiencing.

I was hoping to try and make it to the Funeral tomorrow.. to hug you.. but something has come up.. and I cannot be there.

Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers... may the Lord bless all of your family tomorrow with Peace and Comfort... and may it continue into the next coming weeks... ♥

Sweet little boy... how joyous it will be to meet him again! I'm sure he will be keeping careful watch over all of you, especially in this time of grief. I love the picture of the Savior and baby. It's a new one to me. Be strong, and know that we are all praying for you and your family at this difficult time.

Connie I was going to come for the funeral, but will be attending another one of a family member instead.

You and your family have not ceased from our prayers.
I wish there was something I could do or say that could take it away.

Love you.

Connie, does the family have plenty of photos of little Grady. If not it is not too late to contact a photographer through NILMDTS to have them come and take photos. Sessions are often done at funeral homes and the photos would be edited and made into amazing portraits for the family to remember little Grady by. Also - if NILMDTS does a session Heritage Makers offers the family a free 10x10 memory book. Designing the book with the NILMDTS photos and any photos the family has, could be theraputic for the mother and siblings. I am a NILDTS photographer here in Oklahoma - but I don't know anyone in your area. However if you go to www.nilmdts.org and choose the find a photographer link there should be someone listed. Perhaps they could come tonight or before services tomorrow?
And I'll be thinking about you... and Grady's parents and siblings. My heart goes out to you during this time of loss and my prayers are with you!

I have thought of you ever day since this tragic event.
But, I know somewhat of the measure of "peace" that is with you right now.
because....I KNOW it was only through the prayers of others offered on my families behalf when we lost Matt, that carried me through.
All I can do is send you my love
and continued prayers for YOUR family

Today I read the scripture 2 Kings 20:5 and thought of you and your family: "I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee."
I hope today brought peace for you. I'm so sorry your family is having to walk this road.

Oh, Connie! Words cannot express my sorrow for you and your family right now. I am so heartbroken by this news. So grateful for our Heavenly Father's Plan. But I'm sure it doesn't make the absence any more bearable for you. My prayers are with you and your family, hoping that an eternal perspective my speed your healing. Much love, My Friend.
