The Eyes Have It

It has been said that the eyes are the windows to the soul.
When the eyes get to the point that others can see more clearly IN than you can see OUT, it's time to get 'em fixed!
This is the Divine Miss Em.  She's in 2nd grade.

Last month, the school nurse informed her parents that Em failed the vision exam.  She was taken to the eye doctor, who examined her eyes and declared them beautiful but needing help.

Here she is with her glasses.  Doesn't she look adorable?

Speaking of getting fixed.  Henry had a little surgery today.  He's doing juuusst fine!  This picture was taken right after he got home.
Look at HIS eyes.  Can you look into HIS soul?   Can you tell what he's thinking?  Yeah, me too.

Even though he usually sleeps in the garage, the vet said he should stay in the house for 24 hours.
I'd be wise to sleep with one eye open!

Those cute glasses are a perfect style for her! She looks great with or without them.

Make sure the one eye you keep open is the one that works.

Miss Em looks very cute in her glasses.

Frankly, I think I'd think twice about falling asleep AT ALL.

Very cute glasses.

Henry does not look happy, so I would diffidently keep an eye out for him tonight.

I was the same age when I got glasses:) I refused to really wear them until about fifth grade when I realized I couldn't see anything without them. The necessity of vision won out over my pride. But she look darling in those glasses!

Divine Miss Em is beautiful! I love her glasses too. Now she can see - Yeah!! My oldest had glasses about that age too. It's nice when the school can give you a heads up. Scary cat... Sleep with one eye open for sure! ha ha! Poor little thing.

The choices for glasses nowadays are SO fun and she looks adorable in them.

Jade has been complaining about headaches from looking at the board all day and so we have an appt. for him at the eye doctor next week.

BTW...love your new profile picture of your "eyes"...whoever drew that is talented!

So glad you enjoyed the muffin recipe and you are more than willing to share the recipe!

Hope it's a great day for you today!

Miss Em is adorable! And looks so cute in her new glasses.

My daughter failed the eye exam once. They sent me a letter informing me so. I called the number on the letter to inform them that she already wears glasses. We got a good laugh out of that.

Em is darling! I think she looks great in her glasses, kinda like a model.
The cat looks a little irritated.
We know the look.
Years ago I was telling our littlest that the cats hat to go to the vet. She wanted to know why.
I said it was to take out their tonsils.
Ya, your cat looks like his tonsilletomy wasn't the favorite part of his day either.

Such a relief to correct vision before it becomes a problem. I always wanted glasses but couldn't get them until recently. Lil Bits wants them, too.

Miss Em looks adorable as ever! And you know I have a soft spot for cute girls named Emily! :)

I am, however, worried about you being alone with that CAT! He/She/It (don't say that fast)...looks a little unstable! :)

I love those glasses. They make her look so sharp and sophisticated. It's always hard to adjust to change, but I hope that she gets used to them quickly!
