Name That Tune

I loved watching that game show! The contestants would be given a clue to the song that the band would play. Then they would tell the host how many notes it would take before they could guess the song.
Here is a rendition of the game. Mr. Cy was the host AND the band. Here's the clue.
"This song is on Beatles Rock Band." How many notes will it take you to guess?

Don't ask how many notes I needed. All I can say is it's a good thing Em started singing!

Thanks for all your positive comments about Em's new glasses. Tuesday was the first day she wore them to school. She returned home feeling a little sad because of some negative comments that had been said to her. Her mother had her read all of your comments. It made her day!

That's so great that her mom read her all of the comments. Change is always tough on children.

I'll come back again so I can see the little clip.

Growing up we watched Name That Tune alot! We even played it for FHE. FUN times! Glad your Granddaughter sees better with her cute new glasses...wish we could all see how important our words are to tender little hearts. Have a great day!

My mama was so good at Name that tune! We couldn't even get a word out fast enough to beat her.

I just hate that kids can be so mean to each other sometimes :(
I hope she will shake it off because she really is a doll and I think the glasses are just perfect for her cuteness!

Actually, I think Cy was humming "Enter Sandman" then quickly switched to a more familiar tune :)
Fun game!!
You should hold "Name That tune" contests on your blog! Post clips of your cute grandkids humming a song and we - your loyal readers - will try and guess the song! :)

The video wouldn't work for me either.. darn it.
Since I play Beatles Rock band so much.. I'm sure I would have won easily!-- which is good.. because I NEVER win anything!

My niece wears glasses.. they are so cute on her.. really.
But--I remember my sister struggling to keep them on her. She said she would LOVE to write Disney and suggest that it's time for a Princess who wears glasses all the time.. so it can show all of the "real life princesses" that they can be beautiful. :)

Kids can be so cruel it's been that way and I suppose it'll never change what a great mom to read the positive comments and give some smiles to her child.

He should have just started off with the drum beats...I knew what it was as soon as the poor table was assaulted. :)

Beatles Rock Band is a blast. We don't have it, but we have played it at our friend's house and it was hard to not bring it home with us...

Em's glasses are darling. I'm sad that the kids at school were -- less than positive -- about them. There are so many kids these days wearing glasses that it shouldn't be a big deal anymore. This makes me very grateful that nothing negative was said when my little guy got his glasses a year ago (his inadequate vision was detected at the school exam... just like Em!)
Of course two other kids got glasses at the same time, so that may have helped.

Why do kids have to be mean? Poor girl.

I didn't know if you'd see the comment I left on my post so I'm commenting here too--Yay! Maria is in your ward. It's nice to know she has a special sister there, but we miss her. She is amazing, but has had a hard few years. I'm glad her mother and sister are still in our ward so she comes to visit all of us occasionally.

Hi Connie, I have fixed the problem with my side bar. You can now click onto "Angels in Waiting". Please join my followers for it.

What a beautiful daughter and very cool glasses, might I add. There is only one thing that matters about having glasses. SHE WILL BECOME SO MUCH MORE CONFIDENT IN WHAT SHE DOES -BECAUSE- SHE CAN SEE. Confidence is what it's all about.

My husband has a saying, and it goes like this, "Your the Best, Number One, Play to Win". Everytime our children leave the house, he says it to them.

I remember wanting to wear glasses. I use to pull my head band down over my eyes and pretend they were glasses.

Have a great day.
Hugs
