My husband, who is a bit anti-social and doesn't like being on the computer unless he has a good Spider Solitaire game going, signed up for a Facebook account. The reason I knew is because of the email that came to our shared account that welcomed him.
I was surprised.
This morning there were over 20 emails for him from Facebook; so and so has added you as a friend, so and so has tagged a photo, so and so has confirmed your friendship. I brought that to his attention. He shook his head and in a forlorn voice, lamented, "All I wanted to do was win some money in a Snickers contest!"
He got more than he bargained for!

L.O.L!
Ha Ha, he is too popular for his own good.
Now that is funny!
What Snickers contest???
I want to win some money too :)
That is so funny...men...what ya gonna do with em! I hope he'll enjoy it! Come say hi :D
Ha! That would explain why his first activity listed on Facebook was "becoming a fan of Snickers"! :) Will he share since I became his friend?
I can't wait to be his friend! I know there will be great updates posted throughout the day on his facebook. He just wants everyone to know what he's doing at all times! Let us know if he wins the money...or the Snickers!
He will get sucked in!
LoL I know just how he feels!
So Funny!
Hopefully the Snickers thing works out for him :)
Lovely pictures you posted for Valentines.
Jordan has a Sweet car! I guess his days of buying a junkercar from Curtis for 10 bucks (or whatever their arrangment was) are over!
Oops! That is so funny Connie. We are not on Facebook either.
Have a blessed day. ~Melissa :)
LOL!
I am a fecebooker.. and blogger.. and I prefer the blog.
Facebook has brought a few friends back to me.. but the only REAL reason I stay on it is for the updates and announcements people put on it. I e-mail my friends through it.. and I am able to spread news quickly to friends and family that needs to hear it.
But.. I can pass on "becoming fans of things, playing games, and invites.
If you get an account.. let me know though! :)
Heck, I'm on Facebook and I didn't see the Snickers contest ; (
The main reason I'm on Facebook is to see what's going on with my grandkids and even my kids.
Oh, that's funny!!!!!
LOVE IT!
Hmmm. Emails, facebook, twitter, blogging---do you feel sometimes that we may be loosing contact with "humanity".
how many "friends" does one REALLY have on facebook---friends????
how many "followers" do you have on blog---followers??? really
how many of THOSE followers comment on your blog
is it superficial??
what is REAL anymore?
That is funy! I have yet to do a facebook. I know I would enjoy it.
He asked ME to be his friend.. Was that just part of a contest?!
I want to be Andy's friend on facebook. :)
That was so funny to have you narrate this to me today.
So funny!
My husband has yet to sign up on Facebook even though a few of his friends keep hounding him about it. I've got to give him credit, he's never been one to give into peer pressure!
Hee! Hee! Hee! Too funny...and I also LOVE that "spider" game (way to much!) Hope he won the Snickers contest!
That is SO funny!!! I thought I was going to read that he did Facebook and you do Blogging because that is how Tracy and I am.

Hope this finds you having a happy day. Only one more day until the weekend!
